Happily Ever After Fireworks
As the 50th Anniversary came to an end, Disney confirmed that the beloved Happily Ever After fireworks show would return on April 3, 2023. The new version of the show features updated technology, including projections all along Main Street, U.S.A.
Fans were thrilled when Happily Ever After returned to Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
Recently, Disney made more changes to Happily Ever After. They added searchlights and illuminated Cinderella Castle with cool backlighting. These changes make the show even more magical.
Showtimes
Happily Ever After is a popular nighttime show at the Magic Kingdom. It is held every night at 9:00 pm and lasts for 18 minutes.
Starting May 12, Happily Ever After will begin at 9:20 pm instead of 9:00 pm. This time continues for the duration of Disney’s fireworks calendar which runs through July 12.
After the show ends, guests flood the exits. So it’s great when the park remains open after the show to enjoy the park with fewer guests.
What Does This Mean to You?
Happily Ever After is a must-see for many guests. If you have the chance, try watching it from multiple viewing spots. It’s a different show close to Cinderella Castle versus down Main Street.
If you’re able to fit Happily Ever After fireworks in your trip, we suggest you watch it. The music, stories, and fireworks are the best!
Having Happily Ever After fireworks begin later gives guests more time to enjoy other attractions and hop to the Magic Kingdom from other parks.
