Inside Out 2
Inside Out came out in 2015 and follows Riley, a girl whose emotions get the best of her when she moves. They must all learn how to navigate her new way of life.
Inside Out 2 will debut in theaters on June 14, 2024.
The film has already broken records ahead of its release! After the first teaser trailer was released, it broke a record with 157 million views, becoming the most-watched animated trailer in Disney’s history.
New Emotions
We already knew about Anxiety, the new emotion introduced in Inside Out 2. But now, there are even more!
In addition to Anxiety (voiced by Maya Hawke), Inside Out 2 will also introduce us to Envy (voiced by Ayo Edebiri), Ennui (voiced by Adele Exarchopoulos), and Embarassment (voiced by Paul Walter Hauser).
Of course, familiar favorites Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger are still part of Riley’s story in Inside Out.
Full Trailer
The full and official trailer for Inside Out 2 is available now, and it’s over two minutes long! Scenes show Riley playing hockey, getting braces, and attending camp.
Plus, we get a full look at all the new emotions Riley is experiencing and how they suppress the old ones.
This movie is already proving to be a great film for kids to learn about the more sophisticated emotions they will experience as they get older. I like how the movie has gotten “older” like the kids who first watched Inside Out in 2015.
