One Universal Attraction is Closing For Refurbishment Soon

Universal has added an attraction to the refurbishment list for the spring just as crowds are growing. Find out whether it will impact your visit.

No one likes to hear that a refurbishment will be taking place in a theme park during their visit. This is especially true if it is for an attraction that you and your travel party have on your must-do list.

It also makes parkgoers weary because a closure of one attraction can mean an increase in other wait times across the park since there are fewer places to go.

However, refurbishments are necessary to keep the attractions maintained and safe for everyone. After all, safety needs to be a priority in order for everyone to have fun.

Universal has already announced some refurbishments. You can read about the closure dates for one of the water rides HERE.

This time the closure impacts a ride at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. One of the few available family attractions is going to be refurbished.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish will be closing for nearly one full month. This attraction is a spinner, similar to Dumbo in Walt Disney World.

It is a sweet, gentle ride. Children and families can select a fish from the popular Dr. Seuss book and go soaring above the Seuss Landing.

The ride is set to close on April 27, 2024. It will reopen on May 24, 2024, if all goes according to plan.

With the former kid’s area in Universal Studios being transformed into Dreamworks Land, there is already a shortage of attractions available for tiny children. Be sure to manage your expectations if you have kids on your trip.
