Star Wars is gearing up for exciting new stories. Get ready to see more content featuring Mandalorian, Grogu, and Ahsoka, including a MOVIE!
New Feature Film
Mandalorian and Grogu are getting their own feature film! That’s right, they are heading to movie theaters!
Star Wars: “The Mandalorian” is a space Western web television series created by Jon Favreau, and it premiered as a new original series on Disney+ when the streaming service became available in November 2019. “The Mandalorian” is the first live-action series for the Star Wars franchise.
Many loyal Star Wars fans were a bit skeptical of this new venture, but after 3 seasons of the show all skepticism is gone. And now, Mando and Baby Yoda’s stories will continue with this new adventure.
It is directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni. Production begins this year.
Ahsoka Season 2
You may have also seen Ahsoka in The Mandalorian and the Book of Boba Fett. Ahsoka Tano is now the star of her own series!
This newest addition to the Star Wars universe follows Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi Knight, as she investigates a budding threat to an at-risk galaxy. It stars Rosario Dawson and the first season just ended a few months ago. But now, it is coming back for a second season!
Disney officially confirmed the second season, but it is still in very early development. Hopefully it will be ready sometime next year.
In the meantime, you can still find her character roaming Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park. She no longer meets at Hollywood Studios. Be on the lookout for Mandalorian and Grogu because they still do!
