Dining Plans Return!

Potentially save time and money on your Disney World vacation by purchasing a Disney Dining Plan. Enjoy a certain number of prepaid meals and snacks during your stay to make your vacation feel more “all-inclusive”. Spend more time enjoying your vacation and less time on meal budgeting while you’re at Disney.

After a long few years, the Dining Plan finally returns on January 9, 2024! There are now only two plans when the Disney Dining Plan (DDP).

Unfortunately, they eliminated the Deluxe and Plus plans. We speculated why this may have occurred HERE. You can purchase either the Quick-Service Plan or the Disney Dining Plan as part of your 2024 vacation package.

We have everything you need to know about the plan, including what comes with the plans and how to keep track of everything in this handy guide. You can also see if the DDP is worth it in 2024 HERE.

Unfortunately, Space 220 will not join the Disney Dining Plan. It is no secret that Space 220 is one of EPCOT’s most sought after dining reservations. The restaurant opened in September 2021 and just in time to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

Located next to Mission: SPACE, guests shoot up 220 miles above Earth and experience daytime and nighttime views of the Earth. Guests feel as if they are docked next to the Centauri Space Station, which suspends just beyond the orbit of Mission: SPACE.

We have some great reviews to help you decide if you should add this restaurant to your Disney World vacation. Take a look at them HERE.

Why?

So, why exactly can’t you use your dining credits at Space 220? Disney World does not actually own and operate Space 220. It is owned and operated by the Patina Hospitality Group.

Because of this, Patina may have chosen not to allow dining credits at this particular location.

Patina Group owns restaurants in New York, New Jersey, and New England. At Disney World, they also own Maria and Enzo’s, Enzo’s Hideaway, Pizza Ponte, Morimoto Asia, and the Edison at Disney Springs. In addition to Space 220, they are also in charge of Tutto Italia Ristorante, Tutu Gusto, and Via Napoli in Epcot.
