Value Resort
The value resorts are the most affordable options at Universal Orlando, however they are the farthest from the parks. This is not a deal breaker because free transportation still being offered and a little extra money can stay in your pocket!
Endless Summer Resort consists of Dockside Inn and Suites and Surfside Inn and Suites. Guests at either resort can use each other’s amenities.
Dockside Inn and Suites
In this post we will focus on Dockside Inn and Suites. Dockside Inn and Suites is the larger of the two value resorts. The rooms have a beach and sunset theme.
Amenities include 2 basic pools, a game room, a fitness center, and the Universal Store. For dining, Guests will find an in-house Starbucks (yes, please!), a quick-service eatery, and three drinks-only bars. You can also have pizza and fried chicken delivered to your room.
Room Types
At Dockside Inn and Suites there are two room types available. Guests can choose to book a standard room that sleeps up to four or a two bedroom suite that sleeps up to six.
In these booking categories, Guests will then be able to choose from a standard room view or a pool view! There is something for everyone at this value hotel. Families of all sizes are sure to find a room with a great price tag.
Two Bedroom Suite
As stated above, this room sleeps up to six, so you can bring the whole family. It can often be hard for larger families to find accommodations that can fit them but are also affordable. Each suite is 440 square feet.
These suites offer two bedrooms, separate bath and vanity area, and kitchenette. The family will have plenty of space to get ready for the park and relax when needed.
Kitchenette
When you first enter the suite, you will step into the kitchenette. Here you have a fun picnic table right in your room. This just screams beach to me!
With this kitchenette, you have a table and seating for your family, along with room to prepare some easy meals. Check out my posts HERE and HERE about easy in-room meals.
The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. There is also some shelving space to store snacks and other food items. Having this space will definitely make meals in the room a lot easier!
Bedrooms
The only negative I personally feel about this room is there isn’t a separate living room space. The suite does have two bedrooms, but one bedroom is more like the living space while the other bedroom is more private.
The only thing that would make this room better would be a separate living space.
The suite does includes three queen size beds. Two of the beds are in the main area, with one bed being in a separate room. A nice perk to this room is there are two 43″ TVs!
This does give parents the opportunity to put little ones down for the night, and still be able to be up and about in the room. I (Heather) know my family certainly likes the ability to enjoy the space while a child is sleeping.
Bathroom and Separate Vanity
A must in any hotel room for my family is the separate bathroom and vanity area. Especially with a room that sleeps six, a divided area that helps multiple people get ready at one time is needed.
The vanity areas contains two sinks and a vanity. There is also a wall mounted hairdryer. In the bathroom, you will find a toilet, shower/tub combination or shower, and a retractable clothesline.
No excuses for being late for early entry with this amazing set up!
Room Amenities

Final Thoughts
If you have a larger family or looking for more space, this room is what your family could be looking for. You get many of the onsite perks that Universal Orlando has to offer. You are sure to feel like you are in a home away from home when staying in a Dockside Inn and Suite two bedroom suite!
This affordable beach themed hotel will keep money in your pocket, so you and your family can budget your money elsewhere. I personally love that there are different levels of hotels with different room styles, so it can be more affordable for many.
