All the Amazing Ways Disney’s Voices of Liberty Perform

American Adventure Pavilion

The America Adventure Pavilion is located between the Italy and Japan Pavilions in Epcot’s World Showcase. If you’re walking from the front entrance, it’s in the middle of the World Showcase lagoon. However, you can take the World Showcase boat to Morocco to save some steps. When you enter from the International Gateway, head towards France.

As you enter the pavilion, take a moment to appreciate the beautiful artwork and inspirational sayings that depict America’s history and present. In addition, this building has excellent air conditioning, making it a perfect spot to take a break from the heat.

Don’t miss the patriotic American Adventure show, which retells American history, inspiring guests with America’s historical journey. The attraction features 35 Audio-Animatronics figures, digital rear-projection images on a 72-foot screen, and patriotic songs that showcase America’s story.

Voices of Liberty

Voices of Liberty is a beloved a cappella group specializing in classic Americana music. The group performed outdoors at EPCOT’s American Gardens Theater when EPCOT reopened in July 2020. However, they returned to the indoor rotunda of the America Adventure Pavilion in January 2022. 

Each show features 8 singers, with 4 male and 4 female singers. The performers rotate, so you may not see the same singers in every show.

Performances at American Adventure Pavilion

Step into The American Adventure Pavilion for an inspiring vocal performance by the Voices of Liberty. Their melodies delight while the rotunda’s acoustically perfect dome amplifies their sound. You don’t want to miss their 15-minute performance of timeless classics.

The song mix of Voices of Liberty changes with every show. It includes a wide range of music, from classic American songs like “Oh Susanna,” “America the Beautiful,” and “The Star-Spangled Banner” to beloved Disney tunes such as “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” and “When You Wish Upon a Star.”

Each performance includes various music, including American classics and patriotic songs.

Finally, the performance typically wraps up with a patriotic song that honors those who have served in the military. These performances take place several times throughout each day. Check out Character Locator to see the schedule.

For the best possible experience, sit or stand as close to the rotunda circle as possible for the best sound. Before they begin a performance, they encourage the audience to sit close to enjoy the incredible a capella sounds.

Candlelight Processional

The Festival of the Holidays is a fantastic experience for guests, offering a beautiful candlelight processional, delicious holiday food booths, a fun scavenger hunt and cookie stroll, holiday merchandise, and fantastic entertainment. Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses also returns each year as a holiday overlay.

EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays typically runs from the day after Thanksgiving to the end of December, excluding New Year’s Eve. During this time, you shouldn’t miss the retelling of the Christmas story in the Candlelight Processional. You’ll enjoy The Voices of Liberty singing in the Christmas Tree behind the narrator.

This time-honored tradition has been a part of the holiday season at Walt Disney World since its opening in 1971. Guests love experiencing the celebrity narrators, the Voices of Liberty ensemble, a 50-piece live orchestra, and glorious massed choirs as they present a heartwarming retelling of the traditional Christmas story.

Dickens Carollers

During the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, the Voices of Liberty also perform as the Dickens Carolers. They are dressed in Colonial winter attire and sing original renditions of holiday favorites that honor the spirit of past, present, and future seasons. 

These performances are held in the American Adventure Pavilion. However, note that they do not perform in their colonial attire during the holiday season but appear in old-world holiday caroling costumes. I (Susan) enjoy listening to traditional Christmas carols and holiday songs from around the world.

Unique Performances

In addition to performances inside the American Adventure World Showcase Pavilion, the Voices of Liberty also perform elsewhere.

The Voices of Liberty put on special performances at the America Gardens Theater for events like the 4th of July, President’s Day, and EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts. At times, they wear dresses or suits in patriotic colors instead of their traditional period costumes.

Voices of Liberty also performs at special events like the recent Gary Sinise Foundation ceremony at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. They performed during the inspirational welcome show in the morning.

During a recent performance by the Voices of Liberty, one lucky guest received a special surprise. Since it was her birthday, the singers gathered to serenade her with a personalized “Happy Birthday” song. The crowd applauded afterward, making it an unforgettable moment.

Why You Don’t Want to Miss Them

This a cappella group is incredibly talented! They captivate the audience with their magical melodies no matter where they perform. They also interact with the guests in a very personal way, both during and after the performances. 

During the show, the group members invite guests to sing. Once the performance is over, they mingle with the guests, chat with them, and even take pictures before they leave.

I highly recommend checking them out soon. Every time I see them perform, I’m blown away by their professionalism, unique voices, and harmonies. It’s clear that they genuinely love what they do! They are the best entertainment Disney World offers!
