Even though Florida is known as the “Sunshine State,” you must still plan for inclement weather. Your park plans can change quickly when severe weather hits. Many outdoor attractions will close when there is rain and lightning in the area.

Hurricane season is from June 1 to November 30. However hurricanes aren’t the only severe weather that Florida sees. They also see severe heat, tornadoes warnings, and even cold temperatures.

The Orlando area is expected to see 2 to 3 inches of widespread rain this weekend. They are also expected to see wind gusts up to 35 mph! Because of this, another Orlando theme park has already closed this weekend. You can see that HERE.
