Frontierland is home to cowboys, ghostly mine towns, and lots of exploring. Unfortunately a fire in the area forced Disney to evacuate Guests as fire crews worked to stop the flames.

Frontierland is home to the Wild West at Disney Parks around the world. Walt Disney had a special appreciation for the Old West and wanted to create a space where people of all ages could act out the scenes they read about in Mark Twain’s stories.
Frontierland is quite special in Disneyland Paris. That’s because it is home to two attractions that are quite unique. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is the only version that sits on its own island!
While most Haunted Mansion attractions can be found in areas like Liberty Square and New Orleans Square, Disneyland Paris’ version, Phantom Manor, is located in Frontierland! This provides a unique experience and paints a different story of the happy haunts.
Like other Disney Parks around the world, there is a shooting gallery, steamship, and playground as well.
Fire
A fire reportedly started at Cowboy Cookout Barbecue Restaurant at Disneyland Paris. This quick-service restaurant is one of the largest restaurants at Disneyland Paris and is themed after the Wild West. As the name suggests, Guests enjoy barbecue pork, sausage, and sides here.
At the time of writing, Disney first evacuated Guests as fire crews work to put the flames out. Now it appears the land is safe enough to let Guests back in. Big Thunder and Phantom Manor remain closed, however. We are unsure what caused the fire, but usually in restaurant fires the kitchen is somehow involved.
Fires on Disney World property are rare, but they do happen. If you ever find yourself in this situation, it is important to remain calm and follow Cast Member instructions.
Check out this tweet from DLP Report. It appears the damage will be substantial enough to close the restaurant for quite a while. We hope everyone is safe and that the fire is put out quickly.
