Many Disney guests love to stay inside the “Disney Bubble” on Disney property. There are many great perks for Disney Resort guests from Early Theme Park Entry to free Disney transportation. There are some great reasons to stay on property.

Walt Disney World very rarely closes. While guests are present, general maintenance, testing, refurbishments, and testing must be done. As this is the case, Disney does try to issue warnings when select guests may be impacted. Guests can find these listed on the Walt Disney World website and by signage at their Disney Resort.

An after-hours pyrotechnic test is now scheduled for December 14, 2023 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests staying at resorts near Disney’s Hollywood Studios are not notified of this testing.

The testing will begin after 10:00 pm and should end by 1:00 am. Thankfully, only low-level pyrotechnics will be tested. Hopefully, this will minimize the noise disturbance.
