We Have Great News For Disney Guests About H2O Products
Disney Guests will find H2O brand bath products in their rooms. These bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and more have become part of the Disney experience people love to come back to again and again. We have great news for those of you who were sad about their departure.
H2O Products
Your name on the Disney Resort television. A towel in the shape of a Disney character. The bathroom stocked with H2O products. These are a few things that many Guests look forward to when staying at a Disney Resort.
H2O is a line of soaps, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, and other personal care items that is located in each and every Disney-owned resort. In some rooms, you can still get them in travel sizes which make great keepsakes that keep the Disney Magic going after you have returned home.
Most resort refurbishments now include the large stationary pumps in showers. However, you can find them for sale online and in resort gift shops.
Sad News
In August 2022 we learned that H2O products would be retired by the end of that year. The original announcement did not mention the Disney line of products used in resort rooms. This left us hopeful our beloved H2O shampoo and conditioner were safe.
In a subsequent statement, we learned that the company would fulfill its obligations through the second half of 2023 (that's now). But, that's the last we heard of H2O news.
No new replacements have been announced, and every time we go to a new Disney resort we check to make sure H2O is still there.
Good News!
It seems no news is good news! The DVC Condo Association meeting took place just yesterday, and we learned that Disney acquired the rights to the formulas for all those H2O products we use and love!
Therefore, Disney will now manufacture the products under the Disney Resorts brand. So, your packaging may look different, but rest assured it's the same formula.

A large bottle of the sea salt body wash should be a complementary gift. Especially when you stay for 4-7 days or rent 2 rooms for your family.

SO glad the H2O products are staying! I had bought a bottle of the body wash when we there last (a year ago!) and I had been rationing it ever since. :-) The smells are so much a part of the whole Disney experience I am happy they will be staying!
I don't like the conditioner for my long thick hair but the rest of the products I love. Glad they are sticking around!
When will it be available for purchase?
I'm guessing the new packaging will be coming in the new year. We will keep an eye out and let you know!

The sea salt body wash is great and should stay forever and be offered in the gift shops and on shopDisney again but the green shampoo the pair with it smells awful, that stuff needs to go.
I was so hoping to have something I could actually use! All the H20 stuff has aloe and many of us are sadly allergic to it.
Hopefully Disney will continue to sell it!
