Hollywood Studios
FREE and Walt Disney World do not often go together, but at times Disney offers FREE experiences and gifts to the surprise of guests. Oftentimes these are a fun keepsake after a special ticketed event such as an ornament at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or chic coasters at Jollywood Nites.

When Disney’s Hollywood Studios first opened as MGM Studios on May 1, 1989, the theme of this new park was to serve as a window into “Old Hollywood.” MGM Studios welcomed Guests, but it also served as a production studio for both television and movies.
New Experience and Free Gift
After a name change to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the vision of this park shifted a bit. Guests can now step into their favorite films and experience a sneak peek of what The Walt Disney Company is working on.
Walt Disney Presents is located near the Chinese Theatre which houses Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. This location showcases great Disney memorabilia, and guests can often enjoy sneak previews of Disney’s newest films.
Now guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios can enjoy a great preview of Disney’s newest film “Wish”. Be sure to check out our full review of this new film.
Along with this great sneak peek, guests can also receive a FREE Wish Activity Pack. These are available while supplies last. This is a great way to learn more about the film and also a fun activity for guests to complete while waiting in attraction lines.
