We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but two popular Disney attractions will close soon. The closure is temporary, but we are unsure when they will reopen.
Disney Closures
It is not uncommon for Disney attractions to be closed during your trip. It may be a permanent closure, or it may be closing to make way for a new attraction (as is the case with Splash Mountain).
Other times, the attraction closes for refurbishment. It may need some updating and refreshing. The length of time an attraction may be closed can vary from one day (Journey into Imagination with Figment) or several months (Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster).
These next two rides are closing for refurbishment.
First Closure
Indiana Jones is one of the most popular attractions at Disneyland! This fast-pace, rugged attraction takes you on a wild thrill ride. Disney describes it as:
Follow Indy’s footsteps into the crumbling Temple of the Forbidden Eye past intricate booby traps. Inspect carvings and frescos that tell the story of Mara, a powerful deity who promises great treasures—and vengeance to those foolish enough to gaze into its all-seeing eyes.
The ride closed earlier in 2023 and reopened a few months later. The refurbishment included two new digital effects scenes and refreshing several elements of the attraction.
Now, it will close again on November 27, 2023. We are unsure when it will open.
Second Closure
Over at California Adventure, Incredicoaster is a very fast and fun coaster where you must find baby Jack-Jack! He is on the loose and must be found!

Incredicoaster will also close on November 27, 2023. Like Indiana Jones Adventure, there is no posted reopening date. We hope it will be sooner rather than later.
