Disney Rules

Being a Cast Member means experiencing the “Disney Difference” and then passing it on to Disney Guests! To accomplish the highest quality, Cast Members are instilled with five keys and then respect them through the course of their career with The Disney Company.

Each key is an integral part of the professionalism Cast Members display towards Guests and other Cast Members. Each key is essential, and together they guarantee an exceptional Guest experience.

The Keys appear in a specific order to remind us that the first key, Safety, must be the priority in every decision we take and must never be sacrificed for another key. Disney Parks are magical, but there are still quite a few rules that must be followed to ensure the safety of both Guests and Cast Members.

Back in May 2019, Disney Parks banned smoking at all US Theme Parks. Designated smoking areas will be available outside the entrances of all Disney Parks and at designated locations at Disney Springs and Disney Resorts.

Previously the Magic Kingdom smoking location was near the Disney Bus loading and unloading area. Now Magic Kingdom has changed the designated smoking location significantly. Upon exiting the Magic Kingdom, guests see signage that a new smoking area must be used for smoking and vaping.

Guests must now walk past the ramp for the Monorail and follow the walking path towards the Grand Floridian Resort. It is important to note that this area is outside the security checkpoint. So just as with the previous smoking location, you must enter through security screening to once again enter the Magic Kingdom.

The designated smoking location is now changed at the Magic Kingdom.

What do you think of this new change? Are you happy to see this relocated from the previous bus location? Do you think this is too far of a walk for these guests? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.

Bit excessive. No one pays attention to smokers when leaving bus drop off. Too anxious to get inside Magic Kingdom.
