One of Disney’s resorts has had a major update on its refurbishment date! Will this change any of your travel plans?
All Star Movies Resort
There are five value resorts at Disney World, and three of those are the All-Star Resorts: All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports.
Value resorts are the cheapest of the Disney World resorts, so if you are visiting Disney on a tight budget you will want to start by pricing out the value resorts. Because of the larger than life statues and Disney characters throughout the resort, families with young children love value resorts.

Pool Refurbishments
As the summer months fade away and cooler temperatures begin, we will start to see many pool refurbishments happening all over Walt Disney World resorts. After all, even though guests tend to swim throughout the entire year at Walt Disney World, the amount of guests swimming significantly drops after the hot summer months.
Disney takes advantage of this by making updates to their pools all around their resorts. Sometimes the refurbishments are brief and sometimes they last much longer depending on the amount of work that needs to be completed.
Fantasia Pool
The Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies resort was scheduled to undergo refurbishment from January through April 2024. This was announced a little more than a year ago!
Today, Disney gave us a huge update! The Fantasia Pool will be closed for routine maintenance from January 2025 through April 2025.

For those guests planning on a 2024 stay during those dates, this is great news! The pool will now be available for guests at this time.
