Fall Snacks
Fall is in full force at the Disney Parks, and as always Walt Disney World is celebrating in a BIG way. From beautiful decorations, fun photo opportunities, and even Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on select nights.
Of course, Disney is well known for specialty treats and dishes throughout the year. It seems as though each year Disney invents brand-new dishes that we just have to try. This fall is no exception, so if you love pumpkin EVERYTHING be sure to check out these great treats.

Loaded Sweet Potato Fries
Another fun offering at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the Loaded Sweet Potato Fries. These are brand new this year and are available at the Golden Oak Outpost.
Golden Oak Outpost is located past the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction near the Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar. This location offered both a Tombstone Tart and the Loaded Sweet Potato Fries.
The night we attended, I (Donna) was most intrigued by the Loaded Sweet Potato Fries. These are described as sweet potato fries tossed in cinnamon sugar and topped with marshmallow cream, butterscotch chips, and toffee pieces.
If you love the combination of a little savory with a generous helping of sweetness, this treat is for you. There was just enough savory with the sweet potato fries to combat the extra sweetness from the marshmallow cream and toppings.
This may not be a dish that I would select during a normal park day, but during the Halloween party, this was perfection. It offered a sweet treat but felt fall with the sweet potatoes. It was the perfect snack to give me a little energy boost to enjoy all of the party offerings.
As a bonus, this snack location is conveniently located near the Rusty Cutlass Pirate Band delighting guests at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party nights.
