The new Moana Journey of Water attraction is closer than ever to opening! More previews have just been announced.
Journey of Water
Part of EPCOT’s reimagining includes a Moana-themed walk-through attraction called Journey of Water. This immersive exploration trail will be in the heart of EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood.
This new attraction will serve as a huge feature in this area of the park dedicated to “understanding and preserving the beauty, awe, and balance of the natural world.”
Guests have an option to “Make a splash…or stay dry!” “You can choose to get wet—or take the dry path instead—as you explore this whimsical, watery world.”
Previews
Cast Members have been able to enjoy the attraction for several days now, and it’s time for Passholders to experience it! Passholders will need an Epcot park pass on the date they wish to visit the attraction.
The really great thing about this preview is that it does not require registration! For past previews like Tron and Cosmic Rewind, you had to try to get into the queue and register for your desired preview date and time. For this event, you only need to have a park pass and enter the standby queue during normal operating hours to experience Journey of Water.
Passholder previews will take place from September 24 to 29 and October 1 to 4.
Opening?
We still do not have an opening date for this attraction. But, we are hopeful that we will hear more this weekend at the annual D23 event. The attraction is basically complete at this point.
