You may be disappointed by the characters that are no longer meeting. See what’s happened to these popular characters now.

In February, Chip and Dale are meeting guests in their adorable Rescue Rangers costumes near the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. One of the best things about this location is it was an actual meet and greet rather than a sighting.

Before moving to this location, Chip and Dale interacted playfully, but distanced, on the lawn in front of Disney’s Hollywood Brown Derby.

And at the same time, Powerline Max and Goofy moved from socially greeting guests to meeting them at the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge entrance. Before this, Max and Goofy waved to guests from the Tower of Terror balcony.

Unfortunately, Disney has once again moved characters around at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It appears that as Disney’s Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party gears up, you won’t be able to meet either of these characters in their previous adorable costumes.

Now, Max is no longer in his Powerline costume, and greets guests in front of Echo Lake. While I (Susan) love meeting Max anytime, meeting him in his Powerline costume brings back so many wonderful memories.

And, if you love Chip and Dale, we’re sorry to say that they’re once again social distancing on the lawn in front of Disney’s Hollywood Brown Derby. And instead of wearing their Rescue Rangers get ups, you’ll see them celebrating Halloween already with their jack-o-lanterns.

How to Experience These Characters Now

All is not lost if you really want to see Powerline Max this fall at Disney World. However, there is a catch, you must attend the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. The only way to see him is to catch the Boo To You pre-parade so be sure you line up early to see him. Be sure to use Character Locator to see MNSSHP parade times and all the Halloween Party details.

While we can’t suggest a way to see Chip and Dale as Rescue Rangers, there is a souvenir available now that may make you happy. Take a look HERE to see the 1980s Disney 100 Decades collection Rescue Rangers Loungefly.

Whe heck does max have to do with halloween??? He looks like a thug and that whole dance routine is like a rapper show. More poor decisions by woke disney execs.

Oh and I forgot to mention you could caught Chip and Dale when they are going in before. But I don’t know if it's the case again due to Donald and Daisy since unlike the former two you couldn't hug them, though shaking was allowed. I don’t know if this is the case or not.

They did say it was for a limited time. I think this should be brought up in there.

So bummed! We had the best interaction with Chip and Dale 4th of July weekend! Glad we were able to catch them!
