The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 100th Anniversary! Disneyland will be at the center of the 100 Years of Wonder celebration, and you can read all about it HERE.
The 100th-year celebration has been in full swing at Disneyland, but has slowly popped up at Walt Disney World. Keep an eye out for more anniversary celebrations at Walt Disney World. We think October 16th is going to be a big date!

Disneyland 68th Anniversary Treat
The 100th celebration is not the only thing that is being celebrated at Disneyland Resort. Over in California, Disneyland Resort is celebrating its 68th Anniversary! Walt himself, welcomed Guests into Disneyland Park on July 17, 1955!
Disneyland knows how to celebrate by offering this delicious limited time sweet treat!
Head over to the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe and you can purchase Disneyland’s Anniversary Donut. This donut is a vanilla iced donut with cherry compote topped with whipped topping and chocolate sandwich cookies! YUM!
This limited time treat is only available from July 15th though July 17th, so be sure to act quickly!

Honestly, Disney has too many celebrations occurring simultaneously. It makes them all feel far less special. For WDW, the 50th was this huge 18-month celebration. Then, near the end, Disney 100 merchant starts popping up. Eh?! Now, Disneyland is celebrating a 68th?? Yes, those of us who are DisNerds understand the difference but to the vast majority of folks. I think it’s probably confusing, the celebrations seem like money grabs and, frankly, each one starts to diminish the importance of the next…too much of a good thing.
