4th of July in Walt Disney World
It’s the 4th of July in Walt Disney World, and that means that festivities have begun! In addition to a special fireworks display in the Magic Kingdom, Guests have been enjoying plenty of other treats including greets with characters in special costumes, and military flyovers!
If you want to know how to enjoy the fireworks in the Magic Kingdom, head over here. Of course, the park is already sold out for the day, so you may have to make plans for next year or watch them from an alternative location.
But, there is plenty you can still enjoy outside the Magic Kingdom. That includes delicious treats!
Gideon’s Bakehouse
Gideon’s Bakehouse has one such special treat today. If you don’t already know, Gideon’s is a POPULAR Disney Springs eatery. Guests can enjoy Cold Brews, Cake slices, and Soft cookies coated in delectable goodness. Each month there is a special cookie. You can read about July’s offerings right here.
Typically Gideon’s is so popular that it requires a wait. However, according to the owner, the waits are LOWER during the hottest months of the year, so you may have luck heading over. And, you may want to go and grab this ULTRA limited-time treat.
Gideon’s 4th of July Treat
For the first time ever, you can grab a slice of Gideon’s Fireworks Cake! Gideon’s Bakehouse describes it as “all nighttime and fireworks outside with pure Red, White, and Blue on the inside!” Enjoy a slice of this Vanilla Bean Cake with yummy festive colored Marshmallow Buttercream.
It is available TODAY ONLY at Gideon’s in Disney Springs and only while Supplies Last. (East End is closed today). It is limited to 2 slices per person.
