Upcoming Refurbishments

Disneyland announced that Peter Pan’s Flight will close for a refurbishment starting on June 5, 2023. In addition, Alice in Wonderland and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride will also close for refurbishment on June 5.

This will definitely affect your early entry strategy if you intend to visit Fantasyland.

All three of these attractions are grealty loved and enjoyed by guests. This is not the best timing as many guests hope to enjoy the parks during their summer break. You can read the full story from Donna HERE.

Reopening

All three attractions share the same show building so this does make sense that all three will close simultaneously. What is surprising is the reopening timeline for these refurbishments.

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and Alice in Wonderland will reopen on June 15. The Peter Pan’s Flight closure will last two extra weeks and will reopen on June 30. Thankfully these are all relatively short closures, but it is still disappointing if your vacation lands in this timeframe.

Closing Again

It gets a little stranger because Alice in Wonderland closes AGAIN on July 5 and reopens on July 21. So, it is closed from now until June 15. Then it will close a few weeks after that initial reopening and then reopen again a few weeks later.

Wind along a curving path surrounded by surreal sights, dazzling colors and madcap music as you retrace the steps of Alice and her adventures in Wonderland. Glide through the White Rabbit’s House, Tulgey Wood and the Queen’s Garden. Encounter Wonderland locals The Mad Hatter, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, The Cheshire Cat and more.

Down and down you go, until you come face-to-face with the Queen of Hearts, who cries “Off with their heads!”  Can you escape in time to make it to the “unbirthday” party, where you’re the guest of honor? Curiouser and curiouser!
