Many Disney fans dream of a Disney Park vacation, but find the planning not so magical.

In May, Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro shared that the Walt Disney Company will use AI (Artificial Intelligence) to help make Disney Park planning easier.

D'Amaro shares, "A Disney vacation means a lot to our fans, and we're using AI to reduce the complexities around planning and booking a trip and trying to make that whole experience specifically tailored to what our Guests want most."

New Disney World Website Testing

On September 30, 2026, the Walt Disney World website began testing with Google Cloud and now features an AI-powered tool with a very limited number of randomly selected Guests from both the United States and Canada.

After this initial testing and after receiving input from the test group, it will expand in phases. You can take a look at what this new testing looks like HERE.

What we are most excited for is a new search engine that will allow Disney Guests to search for a month or season rather than selecting an arrival/departure date. Guests can enter their preferences for room type, specific resort amenities, and even their favorite Disney characters to find the perfect Walt Disney World Resort room.

Finally, this new AI-powered tool will offer a side-by-side comparison of various Walt Disney World Resorts, including factors such as transportation, pricing, and amenities.

Recently, we were included in this new AI search engine testing, and today we received an email asking us to provide feedback on our experience. The first step is to complete a short survey (5 minutes or less) to determine whether we would pass to the next phase.

The next phase includes an informal 1-hour online discussion facilitated by a Disney Destinations Research moderator with the sole purpose of hearing feedback on the new AI-powered search engine.
