Gideon’s Bakehouse is an extremely popular place to grab treats in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. The bakehouse serves delectable bakery items including cakes and cookies as well as caffeinated brews. The nitro cold brews are especially popular and pair well with the unique cookie creations.
In fact, these treats are so popular that the line for Gideon’s Bakehouse typically spills out into the street and wraps around the building. If you are at Gideon’s and you don’t see a line, it is most likely because it became so long that the staff moved it to a virtual queue.

June Cookie
Each month Gideon’s Bakehouse serves up a special cookie that is available for just that month. Every now and then we get lucky, and the cookie joins the permanent recipes available at the bakehouse. But, most of the time once the monthly specials are gone, fans must wait and wonder if and when they will make a return.
June’s cookie pays tribute to the popular candy from 1918. The Sea Turtle Cookie nurtures you with premium Chocolate, Homemade Caramel, and whole Candied Pecans sprinkled with our signature Sea Salt.
Get Your Cake Too!
This month also brings the chance to have a cake slice with your cookie. The Sea Turtle Cake will delight you with three layers of our soft Chocolate Cake completely covered in a wonderful Butter Pecan Buttercream. It is covered with Caramel and Candied Pecans.
You can get your cake slice at both locations every Wednesday and Saturday throughout June while supplies last. There is a limit of two slices per person.
Going to a Good Cause
A portion of sales from this new flavor will support Florida’s Sea Turtle Conservancy, the world’s oldest sea turtle research and conservation group (@conserveturtles).
The June Sea Turtle Cookie is available every day of June! Limit 2 per person while supplies last at Gideon’s Bakehouse.
Guests can also purchase an 8×10 Signed Color Reginald Print available now at both locations while supplies last! They can also purchase the “By the Beautiful Sea” Candle, which brings you scents of Coconut Milk, Sandalwood, Caribbean Teakwood, Orange, and Tonka to your home.
