Healthcare at Disney World
No one wants to think of needing healthcare services while visiting the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” In case a need does arise that care is needed, Walt Disney World has you covered.
Many Walt Disney World Guests may have been unaware that for more than 20 years AdventHealth has partnered with Walt Disney World.
Back in 2021, AdventHealth became the official healthcare provider of Walt Disney World. They now provide services for those Guests with pre-existing conditions and also those with unexpected health needs.
Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle shares, “Because a trip to Walt Disney World should be free from worries, not free from care.”
Walt Disney World guests can now connect with telemedicine directly from the MyDisneyExperience app. This allows guests to easily schedule a video visit with a healthcare provider. Get full details of these services HERE.
Opening Soon
Back in May of 2021, we first shared plans for a state-of-the-art all-new emergency room to be built at Flamingo Crossing Town Center. This will allow Guests “enhanced patient experience for those who need emergency care.”
Over the past two years, work is nearing completion on this new emergency room. This morning the AdventHealth website shares that AdventHealth ER at Flamingo Crossings Town Center will open this summer.
Located near the western gateway to Walt Disney World Resort, the AdventHealth ER at FLAMINGO CROSSINGS Town Center will be staffed by a comprehensive clinical team, including board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses. This morning the AdventHealth website shares that this AdventHealth ER will open this summer.
AdventHealth ER at FLAMINGO CROSSING will open this summer.
They will provide emergency care to residents of Central Florida along with guests and Cast Members of Walt Disney World.
