The new collection was supposed to be a surprise, but photos of the items are now available ahead of the release.
From humble beginnings as a cartoon studio in the 1920s to its name in the entertainment industry today, The Walt Disney Company proudly continues its legacy of creating world-class stories and experiences for every member of the family.
During D23’s Expo event, we found out when some of the festivities would kick off. You can read about that HERE. Disney 100 Years of Wonder will be the largest cross-company global celebration in the 100-year history of The Walt Disney Company. Disney Parks around the world will celebrate the 100th anniversary, with the heart of the celebration at Disneyland Resort.
The 100-year celebration will officially kick off on January 27, 2023, with special limited-time offerings taking place throughout the resort all year long. Disneyland Resort cast members will be among the first to experience the new offerings.

shopDisney shared that the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Collection will drop on December 12 at 7:00 am Pacific Time. However, there were no photos of the items. That does not stop the internet though!
Photos of the items leaked, so now we have a sneak peek of what’s in store. There is a silver and black Loungefly with a Minnie bow, an all-silver Starbucks tumbler, and a plush throw.
A pair of black and gray ears as well as an ear hat that appear to be “dripping” in platinum are limited release items and will surely cost quite a bit of money.
Two types of purple ears are part of the collection too. The Minnie ear headband has silver ears, a purple bow, and a purple 100 medallion. The Mickey ear hat has silver ears and a picture of Mickey and Minnie on a purple background.
Purple sweat suits will feature Disney characters and the Disney100 logo. Various ornaments, pillows, and even nuiMOs outfits will be released as well.
