Disney is doing some shuffling with its entertainment acts. See the latest here so you can plan your days accordingly!
Toy Story Land
As mentioned yesterday, your favorite toys have returned to Hollywood Studios! Buzz, Woody, and Jesse are back in Toy Story Land, and the Green Army Men are set to return on November 6.
With three attractions, entertainment, and characters Toy Story Land feels like pre-closure times again. Not to mention, Disney will open a table-service restaurant there before the end of the year!
With these changes, Disney is also discontinuing another entertaining act.
Pixar Motorcade Ending
Disney introduced cavalcades in July 2020 as mini parades. These are basically one or two floats with characters. At Magic Kingdom, we a 50th anniversary cavalcade and the Adventure Friends cavalcade. Epcot had a Mickey and Friends motorcade and princess motorcade, but those are both gone.
Animal Kingdom still has a few flotillas still: Adventure, Adventure UP-themed, Mickey and friends, and the Discovery Island Drummers. Hollywood Studios has also been slowly phasing out cavalcades as characters return.
With Toy Story characters and Green Army Men returning to Toy Story Land, Disney is discontinuing the Pixar Motorcade. This included all those characters plus Sulley and Incredibles.
The Pixar Motorcade is gone at Hollywood Studios now.
Disney Movie Magic
Disney Movie Magic is a 10 minute projection show that pays a tribute to a variety of Disney’s live action films. It features scenes from Mary Poppins, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, and many more.
The film scenes are projected onto the Chinese Theater and are best viewed near the center stage courtyard. The show returned last November, but Disney removed it for several months.
However, the show is back and you can view it nightly! Be sure to check Character Locator for the showtime during your trip. Times will vary based on season.
Disney Movie Magic is back at Hollywood Studios.
