Just a few weeks ago, part of a Hollywood Studios shop completely collapsed. We now have a new update for this area.

Back in September, we reported that a portion of Keystone Clothiers front facade supports appears to have collapsed completely to the ground! Not only that, but it brought down a light fixture, too!

Hollywood Boulevard is a popular place to shop offering unique items. At Keystone Clothiers, guests discover new merchandise collections created for The World’s Most Magical Celebration, a once-in-a-lifetime event honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort, as well as other merchandise.

Keystone Clothiers on Hollywood Boulevard suffered a collapsed facade at the end of September 2022.

The incident caused a major delay for rope droppers hoping to make it to their favorite attraction on that day. This shop sits right on Hollywood Boulevard as you enter the park. Of course, Disney has cleaned up the area since then, but the facade is still missing.

Thankfully, the store itself never closed for an extended time and Guests can still shop inside. If you have never been inside the store, you can access it from side doors. However, once inside Cast Members are blocking the front door that leads directly outside where the collapse occurred.

Disney recently installed a wall around the outside area, presumably to begin repair work. The wall covers the entire portion of the facade and stretches to the end of the sidewalk. This is much larger than the temporary green wall that was put in place shortly after the incident.

As a result, Guests are not able to walk on the sidewalk in this area. Hopefully any repairs and construction will be completed quickly so Guests can resume using the sidewalk.

Update: Disney installed a wall around the facade to presumably begin repairs.
