New Update is a HUGE improvement for Disney Genie+

Have you been frustrated using Disney Genie+? This new update will make your next park day even easier.

In October 2021, Walt Disney World unveiled the Disney Genie. This provides guests with a free tip board.  DisneyGenie+ is a one-day fee add-on where you can access even more attractions with shorter wait times for $15.98 (including tax) per day per Guest. Finally, the third option is Individual Lightning Lane where guests can purchase return times for select attractions. 

You are not alone if this sounds confusing and a bit like an infomercial. Finally, after roughly nine months, an update will make navigating the Disney Genie system a bit easier.

Earlier we shared that a new update to version 7.10 on the My Disney Experience app has now made this even easier. This made it easier to purchase Disney Genie+ for the day and also to select your Theme Park for the day as well. Check out this great update HERE.

Disney officially shared the “120 Rule” for booking Lightning Lane selections earlier this summer. Today, another BIG change is coming to Disney Genie+.

Now a special “When you can book” banner will appear on the My Disney Experience app. This time will automatically update throughout the day to keep you from constantly wondering when you can book another attraction.

This is a welcome addition that would have been great to have when Disney Genie was first unveiled last year. This will undoubtedly help many guests in their future trips.
