Holidays at Disney World
It’s halfway to Christmas and Disney is celebrating by throwing a bunch of holiday announcements at us! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party IS RETURNING! You can see dates and pricing HERE. There are also some new and returning offerings for this party.
Epcot will also celebrate with Festival of the Holidays in 2022. See all of the amazing things to enjoy HERE. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will have a festive overlay!
Plus, Santa (I know him!) will be in the parks once again this year. Disney Springs and the Disney World resorts are also spreading the holiday cheer. Looks like I’m booking a Christmas trip…
Hollywood Studios
Magic Kingdom and Epcot seem to get the most holiday love, but there is also so much holiday cheer to be had at Hollywood Studios. I love the vintage decor installed throughout the park! It is very reminiscent of holidays long ago.
The holiday light overlay on the Hollywood Tower Hotel will return this year. Not only will you see the Beacons of Magic transformation, but you can watch your favorite characters come to life with the Hotel as the backdrop.
The festive finale for the popular Frozen Sing-Along returns this year! Everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf, will sing some cheerful songs in place of the usual finale.
As mentioned in the Santa post from earlier, he will also be in his holiday motorcade to entertain Guests throughout the park. However, Jingle Bell Jingle Bam is missing from the holiday announcement this morning.
Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! is not slated to return this year.
Hopefully we will see an announcement soon, but this does not look promising for the fan-favorite show.
Animal Kingdom
The decor at Animal Kingdom is absolutely stunning for the holidays. Once again this year we will have Santa’s flotilla and Merry Menagerie!
These life-size artisan-sculpted puppets are so neat in person! I love the way the Cast Members interact with Guests in a personable way. This is a more recent offering, and I love to see Disney spread some of that holiday cheer to the other parks.
