Disney+ New Streaming Option
Right now, Disney+ costs $7.99/month which is a $1 increase from when it debuted in 2019. For an additional fee, you can bundle Disney+ with Hulu and ESPN+. In an attempt to boost the number of subscribers, Disney is considering all ideas.
Yesterday, we shared that a new streaming option was reportedly in the works to make all the great Disney+ content available to viewers at a greatly discounted price. There is a small catch though. This new streaming option will contain ads.
Time Frame Revealed
Are you interested in this new and cheaper streaming option? Unfortunately, we do not know an exact price point for this new streaming option. I imagine it will knock a few bucks off the current price. However, we now have a time frame for when this will be available for streaming.
Today Disney+ shared that this new streaming option would be available for viewers late 2022. Although this is not a definitive date, it is at least a timeframe that Guests can look forward to.

I will be curious to see if this new streaming service will be available in time for Disney+ Day. This past year, Disney truly rolled out the “blue carpet” on Disney+ Day in the Disney Parks on November 12th. They also offered fun features for Disney fans to enjoy at home as well.
