There are some who watch the Super Bowl for the game and there are others who watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. If you fall in the latter category, you have to check out one of the greatest Disney Super Bowl commercial of all time.
Super Bowl Celebration
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to win Super Bowl LVI! Typically, Super Bowl MVPs head to The Most Magical Place on Earth to celebrate their victory. However, this year they will be going somewhere new! Check out where they will be celebrating this year HERE.
This is a great victory for the Los Angeles Rams, but this morning many people aren’t talking about the Rams. They are actually talking about the GOATs.
Disney GOATs
Last night during the Super Bowl, many Disney fans were delighted to view the newest Disney+ commercial. GOAT is typically referenced as a slang term for the “Greatest Of All Time.” In the opening frame, Aw5wafina (Disney star in Raya and the Last Dragon and also Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) steps into a room filled with goats.
“Disney+ has the greatest movies and shows of all time, which means they got all the GOATs.”
Awkwafina
That is right: a room filled with goats. Not just any goats, though, but goats depicting many of our favorite Disney films. Awkwafina shares in the opening frame that “Disney+ has the greatest movies and shows of all time, which means they got all the GOATs.”
As she walks through we see a few of our favorites such as Olaf, Captain Jack Sparrow, Lion King….the GOAT, and of course, Star Wars with a Storm Trooper and Chewbacca.
We even get to see a couple of Disney+ newest films: Encanto with Mirabel, the goat, and Cruella, also a goat. Each frame shows more and more goats featuring Avengers, Toy Story, the Simpsons, and more. See if you can count all of the goats in the video below:
It was definitely a unique way to showcase the many great films and shows now available on Disney+.
What do you think of all of the GOATs? Do you think this is the greatest Super Bowl commercial or a big disappointment? Which is your favorite goat? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.
