Progress in Galaxy’s Edge
Star Wars fans are abuzz with all of the announcements that have been released for the brand new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Guests visiting Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge discovered a new development near the Galactic Starcruiser. Previously this location was covered with scrim. This completely covered the entrance and blocked Guests’ views.
This scrim has now been removed and Guests can see the entrance to the Galactic Starcruiser. At this time, a hedge is still separating Guests from venturing closer to the entrance of the Galactic Starcruiser. Check out our first glimpse of the Galactic Starcruiser HERE.
Transportation Signage Added
Yesterday, Guests visiting Disney Springs noticed that a new stop has been added to the transportation informational board. Bus stop number 18 at Disney Springs is now designated for the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Resort. Cast Members could be seen at this bus stop dressed for the Galactic Starcruiser.
It is worth noting that the signage does state that this transportation is exclusively for Guests with reservations at the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Resort. At this time we are unsure of the full use of this bus stop, but we will share additional information when it is revealed.
New Look for Cast Members
Today Walt Disney World President, Jeff Vahle, shared an exciting first look of the Cast Members for the Galactic Starcruiser. Vahle shares on his Instagram account,
“Had a great time visiting with the crew at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. May the stars light their way as they prepare the Halcyon starcruiser for its inaugural voyage on March 1!”
Cast Members are truly the heart of each Disney Park and Disney experience. It is exciting to see this inaugural crew preparing for this first experience aboard the Galactic Starcruiser.
We are eager to hear about the experiences of Guests that will enjoy this unique experience. From the information that has already been shared, it truly sounds like an amazing experience.
