The Walt Disney Company entertains, informs and inspires people worldwide. Disney provides a way for its employees to share storytelling, using creativity, determination, and lots of heart. Whether you’re looking to create magic in Disney Parks and Resorts, work behind-the-scenes in television or in support staff, there’s something for everyone.

Many times Disney fans can’t agree on their favorite snack, attraction. You’ll find so many varying opinions on the benefits of staying onsite versus offsite. However, most people agree that Disney Cast Members are what sets Disney theme parks apart from all the others. Where else can you meet Mickey Mouse, trade pins, and be given pixie dust at random moments?

On January 20, Disney held a Central Orlando job fair. Walt Disney World is currently offering between $1,000 and $6,000 hiring bonuses for open Cast Member positions. Check out available bonuses below shown on Disney’s Career website:

  • Call center – $1,500
  • Sales positions – $1,500
  • Part-time/full-time dishwasher and steward positions – $1,000
  • Chef – $3,000
  • Pastry Chef – $6,000

Like other businesses, Disney is experiencing a shortage in their workforce. You can feel this in the theme parks, especially at restaurants that remain closed while guests seek places to eat. Hopefully, they will be able to hire new employees soon. Be sure to stay tuned to the Disney Career website for additional incentives.

My son and daughter and 4 granddaughters, went to Disney last week, the prices for food and entree’s,, were high, especially since the lines were more than 2 hr, wait. They most certainly Should be able to pay excellent wages.

I would love to work for Disney! I make baked yummy deserts all vegan! All dairy and egg free! I’ve been vegan for 10 years now and can make cakes, cookies, truffles, buttercream, icing candy, anything they want I can make it vegan! It’s all good and cruelty free! But I live in California and would have to relocate to Florida and have no money to move sad I won’t if they help you relocate too?

That‘s what they get for firing so many long-time employees. Now they have trouble finding new ones and they have to bribe people to apply. Maybe would have been cheaper to keep them in the first place.

They need to hire better chefs. The Food at Ohana, and many other full service and quick service restaurants is terrible and definitely not worthy of the prices. I wish KTP would do reviews on all full service and quick service since the reopening from several different opinions.
