The official start of winter is still a few days away, but spring is already in the air at Disney. The Disney World horticulture team is busy creating topiaries, hanging baskets, and flower towers. This is in preparation for the 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

This popular Epcot festival runs from March 2 through July 4. This gives guests 125 days to enjoy unique cuisine, gardens, topiaries and fun entertainment.

Garden Graze

Returning this year is Garden Graze, a Festival Passport challenge! Enjoy a variety of dishes, collect the matching stamp, and once it’s complete get a Festival-exclusive prize!

Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration

Follow Spike the Bee on this springtime scavenger hunt for gardeners of all ages. He will “bee” busy collecting nectar and pollination gardens at Epcot. Purchase the map and stickers, and once you have completed the hunt, return your map for a special prize!

Character Topiaries

Since the festival is taking place during the Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, be on the look out for special touches. This includes a new main entrance topiary display with Goofy and a 50th-themed birthday cake.

Also, favorite Disney Character topiaries will be included. When visiting, be on the lookout for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Germany pavilion. Lumiere and Cogsworth will also greet you at the France pavilion.

Gardeners marvel at thousands of blooms forming colorfully all around Epcot during this festival. To make things more fun, AdventHealth is sponsoring a family Health Full Trail. To find it, simply along the Imagination walkway to learn tips for staying well.

Fresh Flavors

Fresh flavors are on spotlights at the festival’s 18 Outdoor Kitchens. In addition, other food and beverage locations around EPCOT serve fresh selections of springtime fruits, vegetables, and desserts.

Garden Rocks Concerts

Disney announces dates for 2022 Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT

We’re pleased to announce the popular Garden Rocks Concert Series will return in 2022. This popular concert series features favorite tunes at the America Gardens Theatre.

More details about the musicians playing at EPCOT during the festival will be released soon so stayed tuned to the Kenny the Pirate blog.

Every year, the International Flower and Garden merchandise is my (Susan) favorite. It’s so playful and fun! Guests can find blooming keepsakes including vibrant apparel, drinkware, accessories and more with new merchandise collections launching just in time for the event.
