International Festival of the Arts

Guests have greatly enjoyed this year’s International Festival of the Arts. Check out my complete review of this AMAZING festival HERE. This is such a fun, immersive festival that allow you to step inside the scenes of iconic paintings.  Visiting artists create masterpieces before your very eyes.

We loved viewing the Chalk Art found along the sidewalks between Future World and World Showcase. Various artists lend their talents to creating Although the International Festival of the Arts is “draw”ing to a close, the spark of creativity remains.

Learn to Bring Chalk Art to Life

One chalk artist that was featured at the 2021 International Festival of the Arts was Leigh Alfredson. She created the beautiful Minnie Mouse masterpiece featured above. Alfredson also skillfully created this this beautiful illuminscent version of Joe Gardner from the newest Pixar movie, Soul.

I loved this drawings and found myself wondering how this was even possible. Myself and fellow Disney animator enthusiasts will be delighted to learn that a great educational opportunity is now avaialbe.

There are now 2 exciting learning opportunities for the young and the young at heart to participate in. Central Florida residents may enjoy in-person learning opportunities. Zoom classes will also be available starting March 1st.
