We continue to endeavor to keep everyone on our Pirate Crew up to date with new information in regards to the reopening of Disney Springs and news as to when the Disney Parks may being to reopen. Last night a new addition to was added to the Walt Disney World website to include a COVID-19 warning and liability statement.

Disney Springs Reopening

Yesterday we covered the increased safety measures that will be in place when Disney Springs reopens on May 20, 2020. This includes important information regarding temperature screens, where to park, and that all guests over the age of 3 must wear a mask at all times while in the Disney Springs area except when eating.

New Addition to Disney World Website

Guests now visiting the Walt Disney World website will notice a new addition a the top of the page. It is titled “Walt Disney World Temporary Closures and Important Information.”

The second bullet point includes “We have taken enhanced health and safety measures. Follow all posted instructions while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. View important important details.

COVID-19 Warning

When clicking on the “View Important Details” icon included in the paragraph of enhanced health and safety measures, you will be directed to this statement:

“We have taken enhanced health and safety measures-for you, our others Guests, and Cast Members. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that and lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guest with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting Walt Disney World Resort, you voluntarily assume all risks relate to exposure to COVID-19.

Let’s keep each other healthy and safe.”
