Haunted Mansion refurbishment extended
The Haunted Mansion was originally scheduled to be refurbished from November 28 until December 1, but the refurbishment has been extended.
Haunted Mansion will now remain closed an extra 3 days with it reopening for guests on December 5. Guests with Fastpass+ are now experiencing changes in their Fastpass+ reservations.
If you booked during this period, you may receive an email letting you know that your Fastpass+ is now for a different attraction. You can login to your My Disney Experience account and choose another attraction, if the one you are offered isn't to your liking.
I've updated the Refurbishment list and the listing on Character Locator as well.
Why can I still book a fast pass for December 3rd? Is this refurb confirmed? Or are fast passes getting canceled around Christmas party time as is typical with most fast passes around 630 on party night?
That's the dates I was provided. I'm waiting to see what happens. If you book it and it changes, they give you an alternate ride FP
Has anyone confirmed this elsewhere? Literally everywhere else including Disney's site itself, says it is under refurb through Dec. 1. Hoping this is incorrect!
I still have my 12/4 HM FP+. Sooo hoping it doesn't get cancelled!

Dunno, I don't wait around for Disney website to confirm anything. Canceled FP+ proves it is happening.
