Tiffins announces menu items and details on Jungle Book:  Alive with Magic Dining Packages

Disney – Open for both lunch and dinner, Tiffins is situated near Pizzafari on Discovery Island, near what will be the entrance to Pandora – The World of AVATAR, when it opens in 2017. (“Tiffin” is an Indian English word for a midday meal or a type of container used to carry food while traveling). Adjacent to Tiffins, Nomad Lounge features waterfront views in addition to hand-crafted cocktails with African, Asian and South American flavors; beers, and sustainable wines from those regions, plus specialty non-alcoholic beverages and small bites.

Here’s a look at the menu for both Tiffins and Nomad Lounge.

The park’s culinary team is working on special dining packages which will begin May 28 at Tiffins and Tusker House Restaurant for the new limited-engagement nighttime show, The Jungle Book: Alive With Magic.

Similar to the popular Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Dining Package includes reserved seating for the nighttime show.

  • At all-you-care-to-eat Tusker House Restaurant, you can choose the breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet on the day of the show (but you have to dine at least 2 ½ hours before the show). Breakfast is $37, $23 ages 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity; lunch and dinner, $49, $30 ages 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity. Tusker House Restaurant is on the Disney Dining Plan and counts as one table-service meal.
  • At Tiffins, the package includes your choice of appetizer, entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage at either lunch or dinner. The Dining Package is $67 for adults, $32 ages 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity. Tiffins is on the Disney Dining Plan and counts as two table-service meal credits.

Reservations will open tomorrow, May 21 for Tiffins restaurant as well as Dining Packages for The Jungle Book: Alive With Magic nighttime show, and can be made by visiting  DisneyWorld.com/dine or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

No mention was made of the Flame tree dining option that was previously mentioned.

  1. Quick question, do we know if the Tusker House Jungle Book package takes the dining plan? When I made the reservation it said no dinning accepted and so I called Disney Dining and she also said no. I’m just wondering if I need to make another reservation somewhere to use up my credits.

  2. Got FP+ for show instead of dinner reservation. Don’t think my family would eat much on the Tiffins menu. We pick one splurge for each trip, and just booked Star Wars dessert party for 6/17, the opening night for the new fireworks.

  3. Phew booking was rough, I was up at 6am….finally got a bfast time slot at TK with 1st showing….maybe things will open up some when ppl start cancelling their stand alone ressies!

  4. I read somewhere on the page describing the Jungle Book dining packages that the entrance to use is over near DinoLand.

    • The only reservation that I could find at Tusker House was at 10:50, for every day during the week we are there. Nothing for lunch or dinner. But I figure 10:50 breakfast will surely straddle the lunchtime offerings.

  5. If you currently have a reservation at tusker house will it convert to a nightime show package or will I need to reserve agian?

  6. I’m going to Disney on memorial weekend, and I clearly have very few questions:
    1. Does Olaf, Kylo, and Chebacca meet during EMH, which order should I meet them in?
    2. I wanna see AK “critters”, not mickey and pals seen them too many times. Does Russel, Dug, and Flik meet during EMH, which order should I meet them in?
    3. Does Anna, Elsa, and Ariel meet when the park opens or at 9:00? Fairytale Hall or Ariel first?
    4. Does Suzy and Perla USUALLY rotate w/ Anastasia and Drizella?
    5. Should I meet Tinker Belle and Mickey, before or after the electric parade? Thx.

  7. good to see AK park hours extended to 11pm in July, hopefully the later FP+ times will come available tomorrow too – Everest in the dark ? me me me…

  8. So exciting!! Any idea what time these packages will go on sale tomorrow? Also, do we know if AK will only schedule evening hours during the peak “summer” season?

  9. Oh yes good question. will the Tusker house still have characters. I have a 4:05 dinner reservation but also really looking forward to the show and to see if I can make it too.

  10. Will the Tusker House dinner still have characters? Do you think the Flame Tree dinner option went away permanently? I know that you don’t know for sure, but I’m asking your to look in your crystal ball…

  11. Thanks so much for this! It will be interesting to see how far into the calendar the Dining Package offers go. I’m guessing it will only be as far as the dates they’ve currently announced for The Jungle Book: Alive With Magic show but hopefully extended dates for that will be announced soon too.

Today is a crazy busy day for announcements. Thank you so much KTP for all you’re doing to keep us informed! Greatly appreciated!!
