Tables in Wonderland sees significant price increase

tables in wonderland

The Tables in Wonderland discount dining program has increased $50 per year effective today, October 4, 2015.  Annual Passholders and DVC Members will pay $150 per year or a 50% increase and Florida Residents who aren’t Annual Passholders (which would be quite rare to use this program) will pay $175 per person.

I often refer to Tables in Wonderland as “the tip card” as it provides a 20% dining discount at select restaurants but requires an 18% tip.  It does allow for free valet parking at resorts and Disney Springs as long as you provide a receipt for valid dining that day having used the card.

Ouch. A 50% price increase is rough, and an extra $250 worth of food needed to break even.

I guess when they have seen a 20-25% increase in attendence in the past 5 years at the park, they can justify the price increases in TiW, annual pass, 1-day tickets, holiday parties etc. These things have all increased at 5-10% per year. Compared to US average salary grown in the 2% range, it probably helps to thin the crowds somewhat.

This just another reason for us to eat off property. When you consider how prices have risen in all dining location, asking me for another fifty bucks is just insulting. Annual pass rates are sky high, we get less benefits from the annual every year......I am glad that business Is so good that they don't think the ap holders count.
