Which Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party date should I choose?
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is very popular with guests. It gives them the opportunity to take part in all the holiday fun, view the special parade, watch the fireworks spectacle and meet a few unusual characters. In previous years the final party would sell out in advance and perhaps one or two other dates, but it picked up a little steam last year and is already proving to be a popular choice this year as well.
In 2013 seven different hard ticket Christmas Parties sold out at the Magic Kingdom. Most were on during the first week of December, when the Pop Warner championships took place, the following Friday and the final party. The only other date that sold out in 2013 was the first party. Here's chart of sell outs from 2013. I'll begin tracking them again this year for the 2014 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

I've received a number of questions regarding which day of the week is best to attend on of the parties. If possible during your trip, you might consider attending on a Tuesday night or Thursday night. They tend to have the lowest attendance. Fridays in December and December 6 through 13 are typically the worst days to attend a party in terms of crowds. These are the dates that I would choose in the order of preference.

We are going December 5th. Short trip, it's our only option! We'll make the best of it!!
Well I am hoping you are wrong! We are attending the December 2 & 5 parties. Here is hoping for smaller crowds.
