Disney Springs Removes More Dining Locations

We are getting a little worried about Disney Springs with so many retail locations closing and now the removal of several dining locations. What do you think of this change?

Disney Springs is a fun place to dine, shop, and play! Here you can find almost anything! You will find some of the best restaurants and shops. There are places to shop, dining locations, and even places to play (attractions, shows, and events).

One of our favorite Disney Springs locations is the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain. It closed for an extended refurbishment and reopened at a temporary location. Find full details for this relocation HERE.

Over the past several months, multiple Disney Springs locations have closed.

Disney Springs Closures

Food Trucks have offered great dining options for guests at Disney Springs for 13 years, but these were all removed in June 2026. You can check out the most recent food truck closures HERE.

Wolfgang Puck first opened "Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe" in 1997 at Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World. Over the years, Downtown Disney and the presence of Wolfgang Puck dining have changed.

In 2017, this original "Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe" closed to make way for the 250-seat "Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill". This large dining location opened in the fall of 2018 in Disney Springs Town Center. Disney recently shared that this location will soon close.

One classic Disney treat that has quite a following is the delicious churros. Disney Springs offers Sunshine Churros Kiosks at both the Marketplace near the AdventHealth Waterside Stage and at the West Side near the carousel.

Both Sunshine Churro Kiosks close tomorrow, September 5, 2026, at Disney Springs.

Tomorrow, September 5, 2026, will be the last day to enjoy the delicious churros at both Sunshine Churros Kiosks at Disney Springs. Disney has not offered an official reason for this closure.
