Why stay at a Walt Disney World Resort?

Staying at a Disney Resort offers many great amenities, including transportation, early theme park entry, and proximity to the parks. There are many great amenities available at each resort.
Disney offers a variety of resort options to best fit each guest's needs and price points. These include value resorts, moderate resorts, and deluxe resorts.
Recently Walt Disney World has added restrictions to help preserve resort amenities for guests of that resort.

Disney is even pairing down holiday decor to help keep the lobby traffic flow moving more smoothly.
Barricades Added at Polynesian Resort

Disney is now restricting access to the Polynesian due to the anticipated high demand for the 4th of July. In the past, Guests have been notified that the beach is only for Polynesian Guests.
Barriacades added along the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort.
Today, Guests noticed that barricades covered in scrim have been added along the beach between the pathway of the resort and the shoreline. Disney has not made an official statement of this new blocked space, but it appers that it may help maintain preferred access for resort guests.
We will continue to update when more information is provided. Several Walt Disney World Resorts are now issuing a 2 hour parking pass when dining at select resorts.
