New Change Affects Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios

The nighttime show Fantasmic! is a story where Mickey is transported into a dream. He dances along with music, lighting effects, and pyrotechnics. Various characters and scenes from popular Disney movies are part of the sequence as well.
Fantasmic! first opened in Disneyland in 1992 when Disney Imagineers were offered the challenge to create a show featuring both water and fireworks. MGM Studios, now Disney's Hollywood Studios, debuted Fantasmic in 1998. Last year, the show received a few much-needed changes.
In 2022, Fantasmic! reopened with new scenes. Since its return, this show is packed night after night.
Fantasmic! Dining Package
One way to receive preferred seating is to book the Fantasmic! Dining Package. This is available at select dining locations. Along with a delicious meal, this will also offer reserved seating for Fantasmic! in the center of the amphitheater.
Hollywood and Vine is a character dining experience located by Echo Lake at Disney's Hollywood Studios. For lunch and dinner, Guests will be greeted by none other than Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto with five different themed dining experiences throughout the year.
Hollywood and Vine also offers a Fantasmic! Dining Package, but this will soon see a price increase for lunch and dinner. The new pricing will be $82 for adults (previously $81) and $53 for children (ages 3-9) (previously priced at $51). While this isn't a huge increase, it adds up for a large family.
Best Time to Watch Fantasmic!
There is a 2nd way to enjoy the best seating for Fantasmic! When higher crowds are expected, a second showtime for Fantasmic! is added.
Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic! Dining Package has a new price increase.
If you want a preferred seat for Fantasmic! but want to save money on a Fantasmic! Dining Package, try to attend the second showing of Fantasmic! if two showtimes are offered. The crowds are much lower for the second show, and you can enjoy more Park time.
