We are so close to the reopening of Fantasmic! and we now have our first images and video of the newly added scenes.
Fantasmic! Returns
The Fantasmic! show has delighted Guests for years. This show has remained closed since the reopening of the parks. Guests visiting Disneyland have enjoyed Fantasmic! since May 28th.
On the east coast, Fantasmic! is scheduled to return on Thursday, November 3 at Hollywood Studios. In the past, Fantasmic! was an extremely popular show! People would line up as early as two hours ahead of time to get a seat.
To avoid this, you may want to consider booking a Fantasmic! dining package. With a dining package, guests get guaranteed (as long as you show up in time) in a reserved section. You can see more information on dining packages HERE.

Newly Reimagined Scenes
In November 2021, we shared that Fantasmic! will be returning in 2022. Disney shared that Fantasmic will reopen with a few changes. The new Fantasmic! the show will feature “new animation, water effects, and everything that we love about Fantasmic!.”
Disney has shared that Fantasmic will feature “a new show sequence featuring Disney characters – Mulan, Elsa, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and Moana – in heroic moments, as well as new technical enhancements.”
The new sequence will replace the Pocahontas scene, and each character will have their moment in the new scene. We do love that Pocahontas is still included in the show although her original scene has been removed.

We can’t wait to see this show reopened once again. After over two years, it will be great for the return of this nighttime spectacular. Checkout the video of these new scenes below.
