One thing that Walt Disney disliked was distractions that entered the sightline of Disneyland. He wanted Guests to escape from the everyday concerns and be immersed in lands of magic, wonder, and adventure.

However, Walt Disney also never wanted Disneyland to be complete, which means all Disney Parks "Keep moving forward." This is, in fact, the current state of Walt Disney World.

Magic Kingdom is undergoing the "largest expansion" ever for this park with the addition of Villains Land and Piston Peak National Park. A big change is underway at Disney's Animal Kingdom as the park welcomes Bluey this summer and prepares for the Tropical Americas expansion.

Monsters Inc. Land

At Disney's Hollywood Studios the former Animation Courtyard is being transformed into "Magic of Disney Animation". This space will have a phased opening this summer and work is well underway for Monstropolis.

The Monsters, Inc.-themed area is going to bring another thrill ride to Hollywood Studios, a roller coaster inspired by the famous doors scene.

Not only that, but visitors can expect an entire themed area to accompany the ride, including shops and restaurants.

Unfortunately, as work progresses for Monstropolis, a large crane is now present to help with construction. This is problematic as it can be seen throughout the park. It is first visible as Guests head towards Echo Lake, in Galaxy's Edge, and in Toy Story Land.

Although we look forward to a new land, this is quite an eyesore as Guests enjoy other themed lands throughout Disney's Hollywood Studios.
