Update: Death at Disney World Under Investigation
More information has been shared regarding the death that occurred at Disney World last night. Our thoughts and prayers remain with all those impacted.

Last night, January 2, 2026, at approximately 8:55 PM Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) Calls for Service showed that deputies were dispatched for a "Person Down" in the Disney Springs area. This call was then upgraded at 9:07 PM to "Dead Person."
The Calls for Service does not share exact locations, but it was reported that the body was found at Disney Springs.
At 9:58 PM @WDWActiveCrime reported that an eyewitness said the emergency was at the Orange Garage at Disney Springs, and to avoid the area if possible. It was also reported that the garage was quickly secured by Disney security and law enforcement.
Update

It is being reported from several news outlets that the Orang County Sheriff's Department is investigating the dead body at Disney Springs on January 2, 2026 as a possible suicide.
