Magic Returns to Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom

After many technical difficulties, Disney has finally returned the magic to Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure opened June 28, 2024, at Walt Disney World and November 15, 2024, at Disneyland.

It continues Tiana's story from the movie, showcasing her successful restaurant and life. And Tiana needs your help in keeping it a success.

Tiana has asked us to join her at Tiana's Foods to help get the missing ingredient for the Mardi Gras party. She's showing her appreciation for our help by inviting us to the party.

Tiana's Bayou Malfunctions

One thing that has remained from the former Splash Mountain attraction to the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure is technical difficulties. For example, the former Splash Mountain attraction was not included in the Extended Evening Hours due to needed maintenance.

There have even been times when Tiana's Bayou Adventure was set to close earlier than the park's closing. Along with this, we have seen our fair share of animatronic malfunctions while going down the bayou.

For several weeks, one screen has remained dark that once featured Mama Odie.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure Restored

As guests head towards the big drop, the first screen featuring Mama Odie was dark, but guests could hear her voice. Today, the screen has finally been restored.

Mama Odie finally returns to Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

It appears that this feature was restored overnight. Last night, we traveled down the bayou, and the screen was still dark. This is a great surprise for guests visiting the Magic Kingdom today.
