First Look at the New Lands Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

New Star Wars Locations
Earlier, Disney teased that the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will soon have a brand new mission. The new mission will feature the Mandalorian and Grogu.
Hondo Ohnaka has gotten wind of a deal going down on Tatooine between ex-Imperial officers and a band of pirates. There's a generous bounty for their capture, so you'll borrow the iconic ship and team up with Mando and Grogu to track them down and explore the galaxy.
This new mission will now explore a brand new location! After departing from Batuu and visiting Tatooine, the flight crew can choose to visit Bespin, Endor, or Coruscant.
New Roles Aboard Smuggler's Run
Disney Imagineers share that along with a new mission, they also looked at the individual roles for guests on this attraction. Their mission was to create more clear roles, provide onboard feedback, and help each guest feel that they are part of the overall mission.
To "further enhance the game playing," the Engineer will be the most coveted role because it will be the Engineer to select the crew's destination.
This will be a great change for this attraction!
Technical Upgrades
Disney has partnered with Epic's Unreal Engine 5. Now all five monitors aboard Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run can operate more smoothly. This will provide an incredibly immersive experience for guests.
Soon the Engineer will choose the destination aboard Smuggler's Run.
Thanks to this new technology, this will bring authentic scenes from the new Mandalorian and Grogu movie rather than recreating these scenes.
The best part is that this will guarantee that these new lands will be 100% authentic to this film. These new missions will debut on May 22, 2026, at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
