As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney World. The Walt Disney Company shared BIG plans for Walt Disney World over the next 10 years.

These plans greatly affect Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Starting today, guests can see full details of three of these new expansions HERE.

Mickey's PhilharMagic

While we all understand that refurbishments must happen, these closures are more inconvenient with so many expansions taking place at the Magic Kingdom.

Mickey's PhilharMagic is a 3D film that can be seen in Fantasyland inside Magic Kingdom. Although Donald tries to steal the show, Mickey is the true star!

Guests are taken on an adventure through classic Disney films as Donald tries to regain Mickey's Sorcerer's hat. The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and the newest scene added from Pixar's Coco.

Mickey's PhilharMagic closed on November 1, 2025, for refurbishment. The attraction was set to reopen on November 23, 2025, according to the Walt Disney World operational calendar.

Yesterday, November 18, 2025, Magic Kingdom guests were delighted to discover that Mickey's PhilharMagic had reopened four days earlier than expected. This is great news that it will reopen before the busy Thanksgiving crowds.
