Earlier this week, a scary situation unfolded in EPCOT. A child gained access to a restricted area in World Showcase.

The incident occurred at the Canada Pavilion in World Showcase. If you are unfamiliar with the Pavilion, it has paths that lead to caves, waterfalls, and other bodies of water.

A child managed to get into a body of water in a restricted area in the Canada Pavilion. The area is fenced, and it is unclear how the child got into the enclosure at this time.

An unidentified adult park guest intervened to provide assistance to the child. Bystanders have reported that park officials advised the adult guest not to enter the restricted area.

However, the guest went into the restricted area after the child. He then reached into the water to pull the child out.

Thankfully, he was successful in lifting the child out of the water. The man's relationship to the child is unknown. However, unconfirmed rumors have circulated that the two are unrelated.
